The Best Little RV Park in Texas, Blue Elbow RV Park, welcomes you to your new Texas home. Locally owned and operated, Blue Elbow RV Park is a cozy, "Mom and Pop" RV Park. A labor of love and the brainchild of a nurse who wanted to provide a service she would seek out herself, Blue Elbow seeks to provide a family style environment, comfort that is close to but off the beaten path, where those looking for a home-away-from-home can have a quieter place to relax and settle down after a hard day's work. We are here for you. We have 10 RV sites with most lengths over 55 ft. long to accommodate your trailer or RV. We have both 30 & 50 amp available. Our park location, just off Hwy 1442, with easy access to I-10, puts us within a nice family neighborhood, but just minutes from our guests’ work locations, shopping, and restaurants. Our full hook-ups will make living here so easy, you’ll agree that we are The Best Little RV Park in Texas.

Rules

Registration and Arrival Check In Procedure - Check-in time is 2 PM on the first day of your stay. - Check-out time is at 12 Noon on the final day of your stay. - We cannot accommodate early check-ins, so please plan accordingly. - Late check-outs are available only on a case-by-case basis; you must contact us before the final day of your stay to request a late check-out. - Late check-out may not be possible due to other bookings; if you check-out late without confirmation from Blue Elbow staff you will be subject to additional charges. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Amenities - Onsite showers and laundry are available for your convenience. - Please report any issues or malfunctions to a Blue Elbow staff member at the phone number listed. - The laundry room is open 24/7. - Change and Vending are available as staffing permits. - Please do not leave your laundry unattended. - We are not responsible for accidents or theft. Safety - Open fires are not allowed. - Any fires must be contained within a fire pit or BBQ pit. - Any damages to the park, your RV/tiny home, or other guest property will be the responsibility of the registered guest starting said fire. - We at Blue Elbow recommend keeping a fire extinguisher nearby. - In the event a county or state Burn Ban is in effect, no BBQ or fire pit activity will be tolerated for any reason. - Any guest in violation of burn bans will be asked to leave the park and forfeit any reservation payments. - Please do not try to burn down our park. - It's nice, we'd kinda like to keep it. - Please notify the office so that we can notify maintenance if you have any electrical issues during your stay. - Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements. - Maintenance is happy to help. - Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so. - Emergency contact Information will be required for all guests. - This information is not shared with anyone, and is only used in case of emergency. - Should you need to call 911 for any reason, if you are able to, please call the office staff at the emergency number listed. - This way, our staff can guide emergency personnel to your site and provide appropriate support. AMPs - You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in your RV. - Amp usage over the 50 AMPs provided can trip your breaker. - Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay. Parking and Vehicles - Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site. - Use of more than one site will result in additional charges. - If you require additional parking outside of the 55 feet available at your site, please reserve an additional site. - Unless prior arrangements have been made with Blue Elbow owners, on a case-by-case basis. - ATVs, four-wheelers, golf carts, motorcycles, and dirt bikes are welcome but are not to be used in the park. Speed Limit - The speed limit inside the park is 5 miles per hour (5 mph). - Exceeding this speed endangers guests and staff. - First offenses will be issued a warning. - Frequent offenses will result in you being asked to leave the park and forfeiting your refund. Disposal - Your mama doesn’t work here. - There are trash cans throughout the park for your convenience. - Please tie your trash bags completely closed and place them in the can. - If the first can you try is full, try another one. - Please do not leave trash on the ground or leave your trash bags half-open. - Blue Elbow Swamp and surrounding areas are home to wildlife, and that wildlife loves your doritos. - Let's remove the temptation of feral cats, raccoons, possums, deer, and alligators and keep the wildlife wild. - Do not dispose of motor oil, cooking oil, wires, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic or hazardous materials. - Failure to adhere to this rule will incur additional waste disposal fees. - There is also a dumpster on site available for your convenience. Pets - Your furry family members are more than welcome at our park. - Please keep them leashed to ensure the safety and comfort of all your neighbors and your pets. - We ask that you clean up after your pet, we still do not know how to train a dog to scoop their own poop! - Speaking of pets, do not leave yours unattended. - Please do not tie your pet to a tree and leave. - Leaving your pets unattended is dangerous for your pet, as many factors, including inclement weather, power outages, wildlife ( we are very near swamp land), and proximity to roadways, can endanger your furry friends. - Blue Elbow staff are not responsible for pet loss, injury, or death. - Excessive barking will not be tolerated. - Be a good neighbor. - Should it become a problem, you may be asked to leave the park and forfeit a refund. - Pets #1 and #2 are free, pet #3 and #4 are $5 per day charge per pet (Max of 4 pets per space). Children - Your children are precious. - Any guests under the age of 18 should be accompanied by an adult while in the park. - Children shall not be left unattended in the park under any circumstances. - Failure to adhere to this rule will result in being asked to leave the park and forfeiture of your refund. - Egregious offenses will be reported to local law enforcement. Repairs - Repairs to vehicles or RVs are not allowed in our park. - Should you require a repair to your RV, please contact Blue Elbow office staff, and we can put you in contact with a local mobile RV repair service. - Minor repairs, easily DIY, can be performed with prior consent of staff, please contact us with any questions. - We do not need to know if you change a light bulb, but would like a heads up if you plan on sealing a roof. Damages - Please be aware that any damages to our park, landscaping, buildings, fences, plumbing system, electric systems, or equipment belonging to Blue Elbow will be charged to the registered guest. Pond and Ditches - No swimming at any time, any fishing is catch and release only. - Remember, we are very close to the swamp, and the wildlife doesn't have a sense of humor. - In general, please be a good neighbor. COVID-19 Policy - If you are sick, stay home, wear a mask, go to your doctor, get medicine, eat some chicken soup, and call your mom. - Please do not pass illness on to those around you. - The owner of Blue Elbow RV is a nurse, and while job security is nice, she'd rather not see another global pandemic. - She's still got PTSD from the first one.

Cancellation Policy

MODERATE If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
