At all of our locations, be it our campsites or backcountry huts, we feature inviting accommodations with frustration-free amenities. Check-In Procedure
- Check-out 11:00 am.
- Present identification.
- Confirm or provide contact information.
- All guests will be age verified at check-in.
- At check-in, all guests must present identification and confirm or provide contact information.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
Age & ID Requirements
- You must be 18+ to book at Campfire Ranch on the Taylor.
- Minors are allowed if accompanied by an adult in their party during their entire stay.
- Campers consuming alcohol may be asked to show their ID at any time.
Campsite & Equipment Rules
- The maximum allowed tent size is 12 ’ x12’.
- No multi-room tents are allowed.
- Use of all cooking devices, stoves, burners, and grills must be supervised at all times while in operation.
Pricing Policy
- Walk-in tent campsites start at $50/night + taxes and fees.
- Rates are based on availability and demand.
- Micro Cabin campsite starts at $100/night + taxes and fees.
- Rates are based on availability and demand.
- Rental Gear pricing varies per item.
- All rental gear pricing can be found during the checkout process or by contacting us.
- Adventure concierge bookings are at an additional cost and are priced by request.

- A 1% fee per reservation goes directly to 1% for open space.
- Their funds are distributed to local nonprofits who protect and improve open space in Gunnison.
Booking Policy
- You may book our campsites and micro cabin via phone, email, or through our booking page.
- Our campsites and micro cabins are bookable 60 days in advance throughout our season.
- 100% payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
- If you are traveling from afar and interested in booking more than 60 days in advance of your trip, please email us with details.
- We are willing to make exceptions for certain situations.
Campfire Rules
- Campfires are permitted unless otherwise informed by campfire ranch staff.
- When not attended, campfires must be fully extinguished with water and cool to the touch.
Prohibited Items
- Any camper in possession of or using prohibited items forfeits their reservation and will be ejected from the campfire ranch on the Taylor.
- Any confiscated prohibited items at check-in will not be returned.
- Do not bring prohibited items.
- Sound & music equipment.
- Large speaker systems.
- Personal-sized speakers only, please.
- Amplified instruments.
- Air horns.
- Drugs or drug paraphernalia.
- Butane torches or excessive flame elements.
- Fireworks.
- Spray paint.
- Gas-powered generators solar is okay.
- Firearms, pepper spray, or any other weapons.
- Firearms used for hunting or target shooting must be kept in your vehicle at all times.
- Pack animals or pack animal trailers of any kind.
Prohibited Objects
- Drones.
- Confetti of any kind.
- Silly string or other aerosol spray decorations.
- Glass bottles of any kind.
- No glass mirrors.
- Plastic mirrors are okay.
- Helium balloons.
Safety & Security
- Campfire Ranch is not responsible for any lost or stolen personal items.
- Staff is onsite daily and overnight, but we do leave camp for errands occasionally.
General Info
- Questions or concerns can be presented to Campfire Ranch staff at any time during your stay.
- All Campfire Ranch rules are subject to change at any time.
Unacceptable Behaviors
- Irresponsible use of alcohol
- Smoking of any kind outside of your campsite, and when a fire ban is in place.
- Public nudity or lewd behavior.
- Accessing any restricted or staff-only areas.
- Taunting, bullying, abusive or disruptive language, and/or obscene gestures.
- Littering.
- Failing to comply or cooperate with Campfire Ranch staff, City of Gunnison staff, or police.
- Extending site footprint outside of designated boundaries or into public pathways, parking, fire lanes, or access areas.
- Relieving your bladder or bowels anywhere other than approved restrooms.
- Fighting or engaging in any action or activity that may harm, endanger, threaten, or bring discomfort to staff, campers, visitors, vendors, or members of the public.
- Publicly visible sexual behavior.
- Possession/use of illegal drugs or marijuana.
- Damage, destruction, vandalism, or theft of any property.
- Climbing or hanging from any campfire, ranch structures, or equipment.
- Use of the campfire ranch logos, marks, or artwork without written permission.
- Operation of motorized vehicles off designated roadways.
- Any campers engaged in unacceptable behavior forfeit their reservation and will be ejected from Campfire Ranch.
Pet Policy
- We love pets at Campfire Ranch on the Taylor.
- We have a limit of 2 dogs per campsite.
- Please contact us if you would like to inquire about having more than 2 dogs.
- Dogs at camp must be on leash and accompanied by a member of your group at all times.
Structures & Camping Gear
- Tarps or other non-free-standing shade structures.
- Tents larger than 12’x12’.
Advertising & Promotions
- Promotional messages, including but not limited to banners, flyers, branding, and flags.
- Vending of food, goods, or services of any kind.
Cancellation Policy
MODERATE
If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
