The famous Conejos River is a short walk from the park and is one of the premiere fishing rivers in Colorado. Our helpful and friendly staff can point you in the right direction for guided fishing trips, ATV rentals, Cumbres & Toltec steam train rides, big game hunting and wonderful day trip opportunities to many historic and exciting cities and resorts near the area. Rules

Registration and Arrival Check-In Procedure - Check-in time: 11:00 AM for campers, 2:00 PM for cabins and apartments. - Check out time: 11:00 AM for all guests. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Quiet Hours - 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM. Pet Policy - Dogs must be physically leashed (6’ max) and under control by their owner or always fenced at your site when outside of your RV or tent. - Please ensure all pet droppings are immediately picked up and properly disposed of. - Failure to clean up your site is subject to a $25.00 clean-up fee at checkout. - For the protection of, and in consideration of our guests, noisy, vicious, or unruly pets are not allowed. - Guests who are unable to control their pets may be asked to leave the park. - Conejos River Campground is not responsible for and will hold pet owners accountable for any injury or damage caused by pet(s). - The pet owner is expected to resolve the issue directly and promptly with the injured party. ATV Policy - Recreational ATV riding is prohibited in the campground. - ATV speed limit is 5 mph when entering or leaving the campground. - Trailers are not allowed to be parked at your campsite. - Trailer parking is available on the east side of the campground. Campfires - East campground (50-amp side): Wood campfires are not allowed at your site. - There are two wood fire pits available for guest use on the east side. - Propane fire pits are allowed. - West Campground (30-amp side): Wood campfires are permitted in the designated fire rings only. - Please do not move or make your own fire ring. - There will be a $25.00 clean-up fee for moving or making a fire ring in a non-designated area. Trash Removal - Dumpsters are provided in the East campground (50–amp) in the Northeast corner of the campground and the south side of the West campground (30-amp). - Please do not leave your camp trash in the restrooms or laundry room. Amenities - All amenities are free for our guests. - This includes playground, basketball, book exchange, and DVD movie check-out. - Gold pans are available with a $25.00 cash deposit. - Please do not remove picnic tables from other sites. - Parents or guardians are responsible for their children at all times in the campground. - Please note the restricted areas of the campground are the lagoon area south & east of the nature walk area, and privately owned lots at the south end of the campground. - The gravel road leading to the south end and out of the camp into the national forest is unrestricted. Campground Disclaimer - Conejos River Campground assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or loss from any cause while staying on the property.

Cancellation Policy

MODERATE If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
