DeAnza Springs is nestled on over 500 acres of high desert – 2600 feet of elevation, to be exact – just outside of Jacumba Hot Springs, we are an ideal destination for year-round vacationing, outdoor adventure. With over 311 spacious, full hook-up RV sites, and plenty of dry tent sites, there’s an option for every type of camper. Meanwhile, we also have fully-outfitted rental units for your comfort and convenience, including park models, midsized RV’s, and motel rooms. No matter what activities you enjoy, you will probably find them at DeAnza Springs Resort. Surrounded on three sides by the breathtaking hills of the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, the resort property includes access to dozens of exclusive hiking trails, shady lounge areas, and landscaping to feature and highlight this area’s most compelling desert vegetation.
DeAnza Springs is also a thriving community with many full-time site holders, and we will always invite you to socialize as much or as little as you choose! We host events in the clubhouse and bar, ranging from karaoke to live bands, comedy performances, and themed parties. Check-In Procedure
- Check-In: 3 PM
- Check-Out: 11 AM
- New guests must check-in prior to 4 PM.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
Pool & Spa
- There is no lifeguard on duty, therefore you will be swimming ‘at your own risk.’
- Glass and all forms of smoking are not allowed in the pool and spa areas.
- We are happy to provide plastic cups in the Clubhouse if you need a new container for your beverage.
- Please shower before entering — there are open showers in the indoor pool building, as well as a private stall in each of the restrooms adjacent to the outdoor pool area — as all kinds of tanning lotions, oils, and other body creams are detrimental to the filtration systems.
- For your own safety, please refrain from running, diving, or horseplay. Small flotation devices are fine (within reason) but if the pool is crowded please be considerate of other guests and remove them.
- No floatation devices are permitted in the hot tub.
- We reserve the right to request compliance on all of these stipulations.
- Only use this facility during posted hours of operation.
- No animals in or around pools.
- No unsupervised children.
- In an emergency, notify the facility operator and contact help as soon as possible.
- A free telephone is provided at this facility, located in the Reception Office.
- Telephone numbers for the nearest emergency medical services are posted.
Conduct
- Conduct at our DeAnza Springs Resort is guided by mutual respect and consideration for all guests and staff.

- Please adhere to posted rules and regulations, including quiet hours and speed limits, to ensure a pleasant experience for all.
- Any disruptive behavior or violation of policies may result in corrective action to preserve the comfort and safety of our community.

Children
- DeAnza Springs Resort is a family friendly destination, and members and their guests are responsible for their children at all times throughout the resort.
- Children under the age of 12 must be fully supervised by an adult even while on their registered site, and especially in the pool areas.
- No child under the age of 12 is permitted in the pools or hot tub without a parent or legal guardian.
- It is recommended by the health department that children under 12 not use the hot tub.
- Children under the age of 2 should not enter the hot tub at any time, and be in the pools only if they are confidently potty-trained.
- Children under the age of 12 have a curfew (they must be on the site of registration) beginning at 8 PM unless otherwise accompanied by an adult, and children 12 to 17 have a midnight curfew.
Resort Speed Limit
- The speed limit in all areas of DeAnza Springs Resort is 10 mph.
- When entering on Carrizo Gorge Rd, please be mindful of your acceleration and the amount of dust you are generating, especially if there are hikers or people on golf carts in your vicinity.
Pet Policy
- DeAnza Springs is a pet friendly resort.
- Pets should be kept on a leash at all times, and away from monopolizing the common areas.
- Please keep your pets quiet, and of course clean up after them regardless of where you are on the property.
- Don’t chain any pets to our trees! (It’s not nice for the pet or the tree.)
- There is a fenced dog park on the north-western edge of the resort — please ask a staff member if you have trouble finding it on the map.
Noise
- Please be considerate of others when you gather with others or listen to music.
- Please do not play personal radios or speakers in community areas where they might be a disturbance to other guests.
- The resort provides music for most of the common areas – if you wish to listen to something else in these areas please use headphones for your personal enjoyment.
- Noise restrictions are in place from 8 PM to 8 AM every day, except for special event occasions (as determined by management).
Grounds
- Our trees and other landscape elements are very important to all of us.
- Please do not mar, deface, or remove any of the trees or vegetation on the property – these natural wonders are here to enjoy indefinitely.
- For your safety and their protection, do not climb in any of the trees around the resort.
Trash
- Please help us keep the resort clean by taking responsibility for your own trash.
- There are cans, dumpsters, and recycling facilities throughout the property.
- Consult your map, or any of our staff can assist you in identifying the closest one to your location.
Rental Units
- Upon departure, the rental unit is to be left in a reasonably clean condition, all kitchens and kitchenettes are to be left clean, all dishes are to be washed and put away, and the microwave, fridge, stove and countertops are to be wiped clean.
- All damages to the rental unit, whether caused by myself, guests or pets, will be disclosed to the reception office immediately or at checkout.
- Damages for which I will be responsible include, but are not limited to: lost key(s), broken/lost TV/DVD/AC remote controls, broken items, discharged fire extinguishers (if not used for a fire), damaged/dented/bent appliances, furniture, cabinetry or dishes, writing on walls or bedding, and ripped or torn mattresses or covers.
RV Sites
- Upon departure, the site is to be left in a reasonably clean condition, no furniture, personal belongings, pet waste or garbage left behind.
- Any damages to the site, whether caused by myself, guests or pets, will be disclosed to the reception office immediately or at checkout.
- Damages for which I will be responsible include, but are not limited to: damages to pedestals, infrastructure and landscaping.
Tent/Dry Camping & Community Areas
- Sleeping: There is to be no sleeping in any of the community areas, including but not limited to the clubhouse, bar, pool area, cafe, fitness center, wellness center, conference room, or any other resort building space that is not a designated rental unit.
- Stay Limit: Tent Campers are limited to a stay of up to 7 nights in any given month. An extension of nights can be requested on the sixth day for up to an additional 7 nights, upon approval by management.
Smoking Policy
- Smoking is prohibited in all enclosed areas within the Resort without exception.
- This includes rental units, conference and meeting units, hallways, stairs, restrooms, lobby areas and all other enclosed facilities and areas. Smoking is only allowed at designated smoking areas or the step areas of units.
- If a smoking violation occurs in a unit, the client will be charged a $250.00 non-refundable cleaning fee.
- We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that our guests and employees are not subject to secondhand smoke.
Lost and Found Items
- Any personal items found in rental units, buildings or anywhere on the resort's grounds shall be turned into the resort office immediately upon discovery.
- Resort staff will make all attempts in locating the guest that the items may belong to (if identifiable).
- De Anza Springs Resort is not responsible for any cost related to the returning of personal items.
- All items found and unclaimed within 30 days will be donated and or disposed of.
Cancellation Policy
MODERATE
If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
